Dryer One Expands Its Expertise to Biomass Valorization for Syngas Production

dryer 050

Dryer One continues its expansion in France with the sale of a DO050 low-temperature dryer destined for the Charente department. This project represents a significant milestone for our company, marking our 18th installation worldwide and our 4th reference on French territory.

Beyond this strong momentum in France, this contract introduces a new application for our drying technology. The dryer will process wood chips specifically intended for syngas production. This is a concrete illustration of the versatility of our low-temperature drying solutions, which integrate seamlessly into various biomass valorization processes and meet modern energy challenges.

Rigorous Testing for Process Validation Under Real Operating Conditions

At Dryer One, we ensure that every project meets the strictest industrial standards. This is why comprehensive drying trials were conducted beforehand in our test center.

This key step allowed us to test the behavior of the wood chips, adjust airflow and thermal parameters, and rigorously confirm expected performance prior to equipment deployment on our customer’s site. These empirical data guarantee optimal integration of the equipment within their production line.

A Project Conducted in Close Collaboration with the Charwood Energy Group

This new installation would not have been possible without the trust and involvement of the Charwood Energy Group teams. As an actor committed to the energy transition, the group will benefit from a tailor-made solution adapted to its synthesis gas production requirements.

We would like to thank all participants for the quality of our collaboration and look forward to the upcoming commissioning of this DO050, which further enriches our operational feedback on the French market.
